Training courses
"Awareness in Bereavement Care" courses are held regularly in Suffolk for potential bereavement support volunteers.
The schedule for this year and next is as follows:
September - December 2010: North Suffolk and Great Yarmouth (in Beccles).
This course starts on Saturday 18th September and finishes on 11th December. Places are now limited, but please call the Administrator (01245 233518) if you would like to join the course.
February 2011 - April 2011: Suffolk Coastal (in Woodbridge). Dates have been arranged over four Saturdays and eight Monday evenings, starting on 19th February, 2011, and finishing on 11th April.
September 2011 - December 2011: West Suffolk (Bury St Edmunds). First session is on Saturday, 17th September and last is Saturday, 10th December. There is another Saturday session (29th Oct) and all others are Thursday evenings.

West Suffolk Training Forum
West Suffolk Cruse runs regular Saturday training forums for Cruse volunteers at the Risbygate Centre, Bury St Edmunds.
The following sessions remain this year: 11th September and 6th November. Next year there are five Saturday forums: 15th January, 19th March, 21st May, 16th July and 1st October.
Volunteers from other branches are welcome to attend, but you are asked to ring in advance to make sure that there is room.
On Saturday, 16th October, the branch is holding a one-off pre-training session. It is aimed at allowing people who are thinking of joining Cruse to meet branch members, to have an introduction to the work of Cruse and to gain an insight into what training for bereavement work involves.
